Opting for PET is best for customers looking for composite panels with high compression & flexural strength, high thermal insulation as long as superior acoustic insulation and high-impact resistance.
PET does not degrade, and its physical characteristics do not change over time. PET is a closed-cell material that makes the panel waterproof. (long-term water absorption is less than 2%). PET core has high shock resistance and rigidity when combined with glass fibre-reinforced skin. Due to PET’s high compression and shear strength, the bearing load capacity of sandwich panels is improved significantly.


Utilizing thermoplastic procedure rather than bonded with an adhesive form, a homogeneous, strongly fused thermos-formable sandwich panel. The PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) core used in our Sandwich panels is entirely manufactured in Canada from recycled plastics. This feature makes ICP composite panels fully recyclable due to the fact that no resin is being used during their production.

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) core sandwich panels are compatible with many common types of adhesives and glues.
